How to make speculaas slabs

1 pack Koopmans Mix for Speculaas
150 Gram butter or margarine
1 egg

Heat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius (convection oven 150 degrees)
Stir the butter in a bowl until soft, then add the mix and half the egg.
Mix together with mixer or by hand and place in refrigerator for a few minutes
Grease baking tray and roll out dough until 1 cm thick.
Cut into pieces of 8 x 8 cm
Put them on baking tray and cover lightly with egg.
Decorate with almonds and cover with rest of egg.
Bake in middle of oven for 40 minutes.
